More advanced 5P Approach courses

There is a range of "higher level" courses for those wishing to extend their skills and knowledge

Level Two: The 5P Approach Advanced Course

Building on the one day Introductory course, this one-day certified course looks in more detail at the methods and materials used within the 5P Approach for information gathering, problem analysis and planning and how these can be used at Advanced Level. Applicants for this course must have first completed the One day Level One Introductory Course. This Advanced course is a requirement for entry to the 5P Practitioner Level (Level 3).

There are opportunities to further explore topics such as creating an Individual  and organisational GREEN Zone and developing new skills. This course introduces additional 5P materials and strategies and gives an introduction to Flexibility of Thought, how this affects behaviour and how this can be assessed. There is also the opportunity to explore how the 5P stages and materials can be used to involve children and young people in the 5P process.

Combined Level Two and Three Course

There is now a Combined Level Two and Three Course for those who are already using and familiar with the 5P Approach and would like to facilitate or deliver training within their establishment. For more information please contact Linda Miller

Level Four: 5P Approach Consultant Status

Applicants wishing to move to the Level 4 Consultant Level will be required to attend 4 half-day workshops and to build a portfolio of evidence/examples of using the 5P Approach for a wide variety of purposes including the delivery of Introductory Courses and work at the strategic/organisational level. Applicants for this course must have first completed Levels 1-3.

Those achieving consultant level will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding and use of the principles and practices and materials of the 5P Approach.

5P Approach Consultants will be licensed to provide advice, support and supervision to those using the 5P Approach and to undertake certified training at a local and national level as part of the 5P Approach Consultancy Services, in agreement with and under the supervision of Linda Miller.
